Sexual Harassment Prevention
He Said/They Said/We Meant: Sexual Harassment Prevention focuses on an individual's role in contributing to a climate that resists sexual harassment. Professional actors portray subtle tensions related to professional and personal boundaries, intimacy, and power with a focus on sexual boundary violations. Scenarios depict dynamics in a variety of academic settings and are followed by a facilitated dialogue that engage attendees in an open dialogue about the ways that identity influences judgement and perceptions about what is or isn't appropriate in the unique work environment of a university. This session avoids common didactic traps related to sexual harassment prevention trainings by presenting realistic, character-driven, subtle vignettes.
Performance and workshop are available in-person and Zoom.
