Five-Part Series on Applying for Faculty Positions

ORED’s Office of Postdoctoral Scholar Services will offer its five-part series focused on preparing postdoctoral scholars to apply for tenure-track faculty positions during the Spring 2023 semester. The first and last sessions will focus on general information, such as the standard process and conventional application elements, such as cover letters, CV’s, start-up requests, and interviews. The other three events will focus more in-depth on three critical components of most faculty job applications: 1) research statements, 2) philosophy of teaching statements, and 3) diversity statements.
